Waxing Disaster!

I guess I just look up to Aundrea so much that I wanted to have the same experiences as her. I, too bought an at home waxing kit. Mine was mainly for my eyebrows and you didn't have to heat it so I didn't burn myself like my aunt did. However, I did mess up my face. I usually like to keep my a little fuller, I think that just suits my face better since I am too make them look unnatural. Anyway, I decided I could take a little from the middle last night. I cut the strips. However, I misjudged the placement and when I ripped the strip off, my eyebrow was a little shorter than I wanted. Actually, it was a lot shorter! I didn't know what to do, so I ran to my mom for help. Of course, at this point all she could do is laugh and say to wait for it to grow back. I had to make the other one similar, so then I had two short eyebrows, not to mention I forgot to set the strip on an angle so they're totally straight. I was pretty upset, but for the most part I just laughed it off. When I woke up this morning, I realized it wasn't near as bad as I thought I actually kind of liked the look. Don't get me wrong, I cannot wait to have my natural eyebrows back. Lesson Learned: From now on I am getting my eyebrow done by a professional!

You can't even tell. You are making a much bigger deal than it really is!!!

Next time just make an appointment and then you won't have to worry about it.

I'm sure. A professional? Come on, just use the good ol' tweezers. That way you take one hair at a time. If it is painful, I read somewhere if you use the stuff that makes babies gums numb you can't feel it when you pulllll them out.

Ohhhh my!!! Waxing can cause saggy skin so I highly recommend threading. Threading is basically the same thing as plucking however it is much faster. I will never use wax ever again! I still have scars on my legs =(. BTW, if you waxed all your eyebrows off you would still be beautiful!
I might have to agree with your grandmother though...plucking is supposed to be the best thing. If you decide to go get threaded let me know because there are certain ways to hold your skin while they are doing it so it doesn't hurt.
